Rooted in balance.
Guided by nature.

Herbal medicine guided by tradition, thoughtfully crafted to support modern life and everyday well being.

My approach.

Balance looks different for everybody, and it shifts with the seasons of life. My work begins with listening—to your story, your patterns and what your body is asking for. From there I make remedies by hand in small batches, from plants grown in my garden or sourced from growers I trust.

The practice draws on Western Herbalism, Ayurveda and Traditional Persian Medicine. Whether you need a simple remedy for a passing cold or steady support over many months, the intention is the same: helping your body find its way back to balance.

Motherwort

Leonurus cardiaca

Leonorus cardiaca

Motherwort grows tall and square-stemmed at the edge of the garden, with prickly crowns of small lavender flowers circling each node like quiet rings of courage. Its Latin name means "lion-hearted," and the plant lives up to it.

For centuries, herbalists across Europe and Asia have turned to motherwort for the heart in both senses: the one that races and flutters, and the one that carries worry. Its name is a reminder of its long service to women through every threshold, from the first cycles to the turn of menopause.

Today, research is beginning to catch up with tradition. Studies point to the plant's calming and heart-steadying effects, and it remains one I return to often, straight from my own garden, when the nervous system needs softening and the heart needs steadying.
